Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
This policy covers the PTSD website at useptsd.fun and the PTSD browser extension. PTSD is operated by Techlava (techlava.ng). PTSD has no accounts, emails or passwords: you sign in with a Solana wallet.
The browser extension
- On supported token sites (Pump.fun, Jupiter, DexScreener, GMGN and the others listed in the extension), it reads the token address from the page URL and sends only that address to useptsd.fun to get the report count. If the address is a trading pair, it first asks DexScreener (api.dexscreener.com) which token the pair belongs to.
- It stores, in your browser: your badge on/off setting, and, if you connect it to PTSD, a sign-in token with your wallet address and its expiry date. Report counts are cached in memory for about 5 minutes.
- It does not read page content, collect your browsing history, track clicks, access your wallet or keys, or load remote code. It does nothing on sites that are not on its list.
The website
- Wallet address. When you sign in, we receive your public wallet address and ask your wallet to sign a one-time text message. The signature only proves you own the address; we check it and do not keep it. We never ask for your private key or seed phrase, and signing in never creates a transaction or moves funds.
- Sign-in session. A secure, HTTP-only cookie (ptsd_session) keeps you signed in for up to 7 days. Connecting the extension creates a separate sign-in token that lasts up to 30 days.
- Reports. A report includes the token, the reasons you pick, and any note and proof link you add. Reports are public and are shown with your wallet address, or your username if you set one.
- $PTSD balance. To check that you hold enough $PTSD to report, we look up your wallet's public balance on the Solana blockchain.
- IP address. Used briefly, in memory, to limit how often sign-in, scans and lookups can be requested, to stop abuse. We do not store it in our database. Like most websites, our servers may keep standard access logs for security.
- Preferences. Your theme and sound settings are saved in your browser's local storage, not on our servers.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
Only to run the PTSD scam-report service: signing you in, showing and accepting reports, enforcing report limits, preventing abuse and keeping the service secure.
Sharing
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising or credit decisions. We share it only with providers that help run PTSD, and only as needed: our hosting provider and Cloudflare (which carry all traffic), Solana RPC providers (your public wallet address, for the balance check), WalletConnect / Reown (if you connect a mobile wallet through it), and Google Fonts (which serves the site's fonts to your browser). Reports you submit are public by design. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from the PTSD extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Extension data is used only to show report counts and let you report tokens. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not read by people except where needed for security, to comply with the law, or with your consent.
How long we keep it
- Sign-in challenges are deleted after about 10 minutes.
- Website sessions end after 7 days, or when you sign out, and are deleted a day after they expire.
- Extension sign-in tokens end after 30 days, or when you sign out of the extension.
- Reports and your wallet record stay until you ask us to delete them, or we remove them in moderation.
Your choices
- Sign out on the website to end that session.
- Sign out in the extension popup to revoke its sign-in token. Removing the extension deletes everything it stored.
- To delete your reports, username or wallet record, contact us from the wallet in question (we may ask you to sign a message to prove it is yours).
Children
PTSD is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
